Holiday lighting design in Houston is the drawing before the hang. Roof lines, trees, and where the cords run decide whether the front reads from the street. Axe Lawn Services draws that plan. The install crew hangs it only if the hang is booked.
The design is not the hang. Booking only the design does not put lights on the house.
The company is firefighter-owned. There is no contract. October is the month to design. December is the month the calendar is already full.
The hang is Christmas light installation. Pieces beyond the strands are Christmas decoration installation.
What the Plan Decides
- Roof lines: Which eaves, gutters, and peaks are in, and which lines actually read from the street.
- The ground: Trees worth wrapping, columns, and a path of light that matches the roof. Not every trunk in the back.
- Power: Where the timer sits and how the cords run, so the walk is not a trip line. Color and density, so one peak is not louder than the rest.
Warm white is the usual choice. Other colors can be drawn in, including a red-and-white pattern, if that is what the front should be.
