The Hang
Christmas light installation in Houston is the crew on the roof, the trees that are part of the front, and the takedown when the season is over. Axe Lawn Services does this on developed houses and commercial fronts.
The company is firefighter-owned and insured. Clips hold the lights. Staples and nails are not used on gutters or shingles. There is no contract.
Book from October into December. Early requests get the dates. A call in the last week does not.
The drawing before the crew shows up is holiday lighting design. Pieces beyond the strands are Christmas decoration installation.
How the Job Runs
Design and layout. The plan follows the roof, the peaks, and the trees that read from the street. A timer is part of the job, so the lights come on at dusk. Cords stay off the walk. One peak is not loaded brighter than the others.
Installation. The crew brings the lights. Clips secure them. The hang matches the house: a one-story ranch and a two-story with three peaks are not the same visit.
During the season. If a clip lets go or a bulb fails, call. That visit is part of the job.
Takedown. Starting in early January, lights, clips, and timers come off.

Frequently Asked Questions About Christmas Lights
Do you decorate trees and shrubs?
Trees that are part of the front can be wrapped. Columns and the edge of a bed can be in the plan. Not every trunk in the back.
What areas do you serve?
Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, and the rest of Greater Houston are on this route.
Do I need to turn the lights on and off every night?
No. A timer is installed. The lights come on at dusk and go off at the time set for that house.
