The Heavy Pieces, Set So They Stay
A finished bed is the plants and the things that sit in it. Axe Lawn Services provides garden decoration installation in Houston: planters, benches, and stone placed, leveled, and set so a Gulf wind or a wet week does not leave them leaning.
The company is firefighter-owned. The crew does the lift and the base. A piece left on bare clay sinks when the soil is wet.
What Gets Set
- Planters and urns: Large planters in the beds or along a walk, set so they sit level.
- Benches and seating: The ground is leveled and a stable base goes down before stone or iron seating.
- Stone and statuary: Heavy pieces are placed where they read from the yard, on a base so they do not settle into the clay.
Paths and bed edges around those pieces are hardscapes.

Frequently Asked Questions About Garden Decorations
Do you supply the garden decorations?
Stone planters and boulders can be sourced. A lot of this work is a piece the owner already has. The service is the lift, the level, and the set.
Will heavy decorations sink into my yard?
Wet Houston clay moves. A stone bench or a large statue gets a compacted base of gravel or pavers under the surface so it stays level.
